Develops advanced nursing theory related to the care of clients and the support of significant others for clients with critical cardiopulmonary dysfunction. Focuses on anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, and physical assessment of the cardiac and respiratory systems. Applies the nursing process to specific cardiac and respiratory disorders.  (Letter grade only.)

Prerequisites

NURS 365T and NURS 461, both with grade C or better, or licensed RN, or consent.
