QM 107C: Quantitative Methods in Automotive Technology

Credits 3 Lecture Hours 45
Teaching Equivalent
Applies the quantitative methods, reasoning, and applications necessary to perform tasks and solve problems encountered by automotive technologists. Quantitative methods covered include computational operations; ratio, proportion, and percent; statistics and probability; and trigonometry. Applications include major automotive systems such as engines, drive train, chassis, and suspension. (Designed for AMT degree and certificates, but does not satisfy FS requirement for AA degrees.)
