Continuation of ILO 201. Builds on the skills introduced in Beginning Ilokano and furthers students’ communicative competence through exposure to authentic texts and activities that promote vocabulary building and hone students’ reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. This course links culture to the study of language and provides the avenue for cultural appreciation and critical awareness on the target/heritage culture.
Prerequisites
ILO 201 with a grade of C or better or placement into ILO 202, or consent.
