Counselors provide information regarding transfer from UHMC to other colleges and universities. Students that meet with an academic counselor in the beginning of their educational journey may have a clear and detailed list of future degree requirements. The academic advising process with an academic counselor includes career and academic planning. As a result, courses completed at UHMC may transfer and fulfill degree requirements at another institution.
Students planning to transfer to UH Mānoa, UH Hilo, or UH West Oʻahu should discuss their educational goals with a UHMC academic counselor as soon as possible. Academic counselors may be able to recommend courses students can complete at UHMC prior to transferring to another campus. Students who intend to transfer are highly encouraged to verify UHMC course selection and equivalency with an academic counselor at the receiving institution prior to the start of each registration period.
Transfer to UH Mānoa
Students transferring to UH Mānoa are encouraged to join the Kaʻieʻie Transfer Program. The Kaʻieʻie Transfer Program is designed to assist students with transferring from UH Maui College to UH Mānoa by developing a four-year academic plan, getting the $200 tuition deposit waived upon transfer, and more.
Transfer to UH Hilo

Transfer to UH West Oʻahu
